About Isobel

Isobel Cripps

I spent my career learning what makes people feel truly welcome, first in the world of luxury drinks, then working in hospitality, to around my own dining table. The Cutlery Club is where those things meet.

Today I bring people together through salons, circles and conversation, and I help hospitality teams understand each other better through DISC training and coaching.

From Luxury Drinks To The art of good hospitality and connection

My career began as a brand ambassador for Remy & Associates, working alongside some of the world’s most respected drinks brands, Remy Martin, Cointreau and Faustino among them. It was an education in what it takes to build a brand people genuinely love, not just recognise.

From there I moved on to some of the most prestigious Champagne houses in the world, Krug, Piper-Heidsieck and Charles Heidsieck. It meant representing brands built entirely on craft, care and occasion, and it meant spending years immersed in the very best of luxury hospitality and the art of bringing people together around exceptional experiences.

Somewhere along the way I realised the part I loved most was never really the product, it was the people. That realisation crystallised when I moved in to the restaurant hospitality, first as an Executive Director for The Media Club, then as Head of PR, Marketing, Events & Team Development for Etrusca Restaurant Group

“I immediately knew that this was what i was good at, bringing people together, facilitating experiences. There is so much fun and joy to be had in introducing people to one another, and there is no better or more convivial way to do that than over good food and wine.”

That’s what led me to start The Cutlery Club salons, circles and coaching, built around the belief that good things happen when you bring people together and facilitate stimulating conversations, learning and connection.

Behaviour and communication

DISC Accredited Trainer

I am an accredited Coaching Academy DISC trainer using the DISC model to help teams understand how they communicate, work and lead under pressure. Pairing that accreditation with a career spent inside luxury drinks brands and hospitality gives me a genuinely rare vantage point on what great hospitality teams need, which is why hospitality has become my specialist niche.
