About Isobel

Isobel Cripps

I spent my career learning what makes people feel truly welcome, first in the world of luxury drinks, then around my own dining table. The Cutlery Club is where those two things meet.

Today I bring people together through salons, circles and conversation, and I help hospitality teams understand each other better through DISC training and coaching.

From Luxury Drinks To Bringing People Together

My career began in brand management at Remy & Associates, working alongside some of the world’s most respected drinks houses, Remy Martin, Cointreau and Mount Gay Rum among them. It was an education in what it takes to build a brand people genuinely love, not just recognise.

From there I moved into marketing brand ambassador roles for some of the most prestigious champagne houses in the world, Krug, Piper-Heidsieck and Charles Heidsieck. It meant representing brands built entirely on craft, care and occasion, and it meant spending years immersed in the very best of luxury hospitality and the art of bringing people together around exceptional experiences.

Somewhere along the way I realised the part I loved most was never really the product, it was the people. That realisation crystallised the night I met Carole Stone, London’s most famous networker, at one of her informal soirees in her little flat in Henrietta Street.

“I immediately thought, I want to do this, this is what I am good at, bringing people together. There is so much fun and joy to be had in introducing people to one another, and there is no better or more convivial way to do that than over good food and wine.”

That’s what led me to start The Cutlery Club: a home for salons, circles, coaching and conversation, built around the belief that good things happen when the right people are brought together properly.

DISC Licensed Trainer, The Coaching Academy

Accredited & Specialist

DISC Accredited Trainer

I am a Licensed DISC Trainer through The Coaching Academy, using the DISC model to help teams understand how they communicate, work and lead under pressure. Pairing that accreditation with a career spent inside Krug-level hospitality brands gives me a genuinely rare vantage point on what great hospitality teams need, which is why hospitality has become my specialist niche.
